The Seeds of Renewal Retreat awaits you...
Your retreat includes:
Accommodations at Loon Lake Nestled deep within the lush forests of Maple Ridge, Loon Lake Lodge offers a serene escape where time slows and nature embraces you fully. The calm, glassy lake reflects the towering evergreens, while winding trails invite you to wander beneath moss-draped branches and birdsong-filled skies. Here, the air feels crisp and pure, the nights are hushed save for the soft rustling of leaves, and every view could be a painting. This is a place that holds you gently—offering space to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural rhythm of life.
Mindful & Nourishing Meals Your retreat experience includes thoughtfully prepared meals crafted by Loon Lake’s dedicated culinary team. Each dish celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients, combining wholesome comfort with an elevated touch. From vibrant salads and hearty entrées to indulgent, house-made desserts, every bite is designed to nourish your body and delight your senses. Meals are served buffet-style, creating a relaxed, communal atmosphere, and all dietary preferences—including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and more—are warmly accommodated.
Therapeutic Yoga & Sound Healing Led by Krystal and Abby, each day begins beneath the soft glow of sunrise with energizing vinyasa flows designed to awaken your body, build gentle heat, and spark vitality. These practices weave together mindful movement, breathwork, and guided journaling to set clear intentions for the day ahead. As the evening settles and the lake turns still, we’ll shift into deeply restorative practices: soothing yin yoga, supported postures, yoga nidra, and immersive sound healing. Together, these sessions invite the release of tension, calm the nervous system, and prepare you for a night of peaceful, nourishing rest.
NEW: Lakeside Cedar Sauna Tucked into the forest along the serene shoreline, Loon Lake’s newly added cedar sauna offers a truly rejuvenating experience. Step into its warmth and gaze out over the tranquil water, letting the heat melt away stress and invite deep relaxation. For those who wish, a refreshing plunge in the lake just steps away creates an invigorating cycle of warmth and cool, leaving you grounded, clear, and renewed.
Opening Circle & Ceremony Our Seeds of Renewal retreat begins with a sacred Opening Circle—a heartfelt invitation to arrive fully, set intentions, and connect deeply with yourself and the group. Guided by Krystal and Abby, we’ll begin with grounding breathwork and gentle movement before offering a land acknowledgment to honor the Coast Salish peoples, the ancestors, and the spirits of this land. You’ll be invited to contribute to a shared centerpiece, perhaps placing a natural object or a written intention as a symbolic seed for personal renewal. Through meditation, mindful listening, and a collective blessing, we’ll weave a sense of community and set the tone for the healing, rest, and transformation that await.
Forest Bathing & Lakeside Meditation We’ll spend time together exploring the forested trails surrounding Loon Lake Lodge, letting nature guide us into stillness and presence. This slow, mindful walk becomes a moving meditation—each step a chance to soften, listen, and feel the grounding energy of the earth beneath your feet. In a quiet clearing, we’ll pause for a guided meditation, breathing in the cedar-scented air and opening to the wisdom of the natural world.
Reiki Energy Healing As part of this retreat, we’ll welcome a gifted Reiki healer to hold space for our group’s collective journey. Reiki, a gentle Japanese energy-healing practice, works to balance the body’s energy, release emotional blockages, and promote deep relaxation. Through light, intentional touch—or by simply working within your energy field—you’ll be supported in letting go of what no longer serves and inviting in clarity, harmony, and expansion. This session offers a sacred opportunity to receive and be held in the quiet magic of universal life force energy.
