1-on-1 Private Yoga Therapy (VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON)
Yoga therapy is an opportunity for you to find balance & harmony in your life with traditional therapeutic yoga techniques. As your practitioner, I will decided what I think will help you feel your best as we dive into the body, mind & soul together.
What to expect during a session with me:
•possible physical assessment for me to understand how your body is working (this includes looking at your posture & if in-person could include hands on touch)
•a mental health check in, a chance for us to chat about what’s going on with your current state of being
•questions about your previous health history & your current state of wellbeing (I like to chat about your digestion, sleep, nutrition, movement patterns, relationships, current struggles, yoga history, medications, diagnoses, other current modes of therapy etc)
•a personalized 75-90 minute session dedicated to helping you feel better through yoga postures, breath work, functional movement & other therapeutic yoga techniques
•throughout the session, we are in conversation with each other on how each pose may feel for you, this is really a chance for both of us to explore your body, mind & spirit. I find the more we get into releasing tension in different areas of the body, the more the client begins to share with me
•I will then assign you “omwork” (yoga homework) to practice on your own before we meet up again
•you’ll be asked to fill out a feedback form
